Today 4J Studios released Skin Pack 4 for the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft. The studio also revealed that boxed copies of the game are coming to stores soon.

Skin Pack 4 provides several dozen new skins for $2. Characters from Assassin's Creed, Borderlands, Dragon Age and other games make an appearance. They're joining by several unlicensed skins, such as a well-dressed creeper, baker's wife and penguin.

Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, currently available through Xbox Live, will hit retailers throughout the United States on April 30th. It costs $20 like the digital version. 4J also plans to release the game to stores in Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan in the beginning of June.

The retail version of Minecraft will have the same content as its digital counterpart. It will also ship with Title Update 9, which adds an endgame adventure as well as spawn eggs. The physical and digital editions will be compatible for multiplayer and receive updates on the same schedule.
