Need a new line of sight for your 3D RTS gaming? Perhaps the isometric, three-quarter view is worn out, tired and just not helpful in getting into position to maneuver units properly? Well, Sega and Creative Assembly’s new RTS, Stormrise, has a fix for the line of sight problems in RTS games.

Stormrise is, for the most part, a typical real-time strategy game in that players choose one of two factions and battle for supremacy across war-torn maps in the distant future. It’s safe to consider Stormrise as part of the new generation of console RTS games, given its revamped controls (specifically tailored for a controller) and the new 3D rotational camera that allows for in-depth lines of sight for a select group of units.

The trailer is short and descriptively sparse, but it does the job of at least explaining how the line of site functions. You can check out the new trailer below and look for Stormrise to become available at local retailers for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this March.
