Patch 1.5 of the PC RPG The Witcher is now live. It should prove popular with the torch-and-pitchfork crowd as it removes all digital rights management (DRM) from the game.

Yes, no longer shall you suffer the indignity of putting your DVD into your disc drive every time you want to play. The patch also fixes issues with EAX and blurred graphics that some users have experienced. To top it all off, CD Projekt has thrown a few user-made adventure packs into the patch - "Deceits", "Blight of the Bogs", "Wraiths of Quiet Hamlet", "The Wedding", "Merry Witchmas."

You can download the patch here. Before installing 1.5, make sure your game has already been updated to 1.4 (the Enhanced Edition patch).
