Activision announced today that the multiplayer party game, Wipeout: In The Zone, based on the semi-hit television show of the name is currently available for the Kinect on the Xbox 360.

Nicole Armstrong, Activision Publishing commented in the press release, saying…
“After the success of the first Wipeout title [on the Wii], we are more than thrilled to be bringing another Wipeout video game to the interactive world, and this time exclusively for Kinect,” ... “Wipeout: In The Zone utilizes technological advances in gaming to break down the living room walls and put gamers into a truly authentic recreation of thrilling television.”

The game features many of the same mini-game obstacles that contestants have to strategically get through on the show, including the big balls, balance beams and more. Players will also be able to pick from pre-designed characters or play as their very own Xbox Live Avatar.

The game is available for the surprisingly high $49.99 and is rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and up. You can learn more about this party game by visiting the Official Website.
