It looks like Avatar 2 is about to become a reality. Even though Cameron still insists they don’t have a story, Slashfilm says they’re gearing up for pre-production anyway.

Their tipster claims technical crew have already been signed up for three and five year contracts to work on the sequel. The first movie took Cameron fifteen years, so maybe that’s unreasonable. Other possibilities also exist. They could just be tacking on extra time in case the movie takes longer than anticipated or, big or here, what if Cameron decides he wants to do more than one film? Pandora is already built, might as well use it.
