New Battle: Los Angeles Poster Is Simple And Cool

One of my favorite trailers of the last twelve months was the first domestic teaser for Battle: Los Angeles. Replete with a short, quick history lesson; an eerily brilliant song choice and some really cool imagery, it perfectly set the mood for what remains a fairly mysterious film. Perhaps because the first trailer was so great, I was incredibly disappointed with the second one, but I really dig the new teaser poster.

Revealed over at Coming Soon, the one-sheet is like reading literal representations of the title top to bottom. Up in the sky you have the aliens heading toward the city, preparing for battle, and in the ocean you have the Los Angeles surf culture wading in the water. It's both simplistic and cool looking - what else can you ask for?
