Sony has launched their official website for the movie version of Bewitched with what amounts to little more than a teaser page. Still, this probably means the first teaser trailer will be showing up there soon, particularly since I saw it last week in front of my screening for Christmas with the Kranks.
The movie’s existence is only worth noting for the presence of Will Ferrell, and he’s the only reason the thing might be any good. The teaser itself when it shows up will showcase an overly-cute Nicole Kidman riding her broom through some whispy clouds and wiggling her nose (she looks like she has a horrible itch). The camera then pans down to show Will dangling from her broom, screaming for help while it wafts through the air. Somehow, even doing nothing but dangling Will gets big laughs. He really ought to be involved in a more worthwhile project than this. You’re too good for it Will.
