Cheryl Hines Was Here

A few months ago, we brought you some information on Luke Wilson’s new film Henry Poole Was Here. Since Cinema Blend readers are notorious for their short memory, I’m going to be nice enough and recap. Poole basically follows a man who is told he only has six weeks to live. Following in the footsteps of thousands of impulsive young men, he sells all his belongings and hightails it for a life of debauchery, random women, and copious amounts of pizza. I’m jealous just thinking about it. Unfortunately, his brilliant scheme goes awry when he ends up with annoying neighbors.

According to Variety, Cheryl Hines has just signed on to join this future Academy Award winning picture. Hines is probably best known for her portrayal of Larry David’s wife in ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’; however, she’s also been in featured in RV, Herbie Fully Loaded, and many of my wet dreams. The film is yet to begin shooting, but it’s a safe bet to say it will end up in your local theaters sometime next year.

I for one, cannot wait to see this. Luke Wilson plus ill-conceived plans always equals a good time. ‘Cold Case’ helmer Mark Pellington is set to direct, and in his more than capable hands this should shape up to be at least above average.
