While the "Games" featured in Suzanne Collins' novel The Hunger Games are more or less a death sentence for kids, the attitude among many in the nation of Panem's Capitol is absurdly upbeat, as though the Games were a parade or some kind of sporting event. However, Katniss’ stylist Cinna is not among that crowd. While he is one of the people preparing the story's lead character for the Games, his attitude is far less cheerful than that of, say, Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks).
The latest clip from the Gary Ross directed film gives us a look at Cinna (Lenny Kravitz) as he meets with Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) for the first time to discuss her costume situation for the parade. As you’ll see, Katniss is a little surprised by the way he speaks to her.
Those of us who have read the books know what Cinna has in mind for Katniss’ costume, and if it ends up looking half as great as its described in the book, he’ll definitely succeed in giving her a look people will remember.
The Hunger Games arrives in theaters on March 23. More information, photos and videos can be found in our Blend Film Database.
