Given its title and release date about one year before Justice League is set to come out, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is expected to feature many more heroes than just those mentioned in the title (and no, I'm not talking about Wonder Woman). We've been hearing rumors for months about appearances from characters like The Flash and Aquaman, but today it's one of the younger members of the future Justice League who has spoken up and admitted that he will be entering in DC Cinematic Universe in Zack Snyder's upcoming film.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, actor Ray Fisher has not only personally confirmed his role as Victor 'Vic" Stone a.k.a. Cyborg in the DCCU, but also that we will be getting our first look at the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Opening up about the part for the first time since landing the role this past April, the actor explained that he had no idea initially how involved he would end up being in the comic book world, and was actually shocked when it was revealed that he would be getting his own solo movie in 2020. Said Fisher,
Apparently Fisher filmed his part in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice all the way back in July, and while he couldn't give any details away regarding plot-points or spoilers, he did note that he has already worked with a good number of Justice League members, including Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, and Jason Momoa's Aquaman. According to the interview, the only people he hasn't met yet are Henry Cavill (Superman) and Ezra Miller (Flash), the why of which I'm sure will get a lot of people to start speculating wildly.
At this point, there is still a lot we don't know about how Cyborg will be portrayed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, or even if he will actually be Cyborg when we first meet him. I'm sure that answer will come in time, but for now we just have Ray Fisher's promise of a great blockbuster. "We’re killing the comic-book movie, we’re ending it," he told EW. "Let me tell you, man, people are in for a hell of a treat."
