Ewan Goes Schizo

After being blamed in part for the financial tanking of The Island, Ewan has cracked under the pressure and formed multiple personalities. He will be seen playing 4 different roles in the upcoming comedy recently titled The Great Pretender, written and directed by Peter Capaldi. The company Relativity Media is financing it, with Arclight Films handling international sales.

According to Variety, Ewan will play four different roles in two different years (1938 and 1745) including two characters within a movie in the movie.

Whoa, slow down. Back up. The script is about two producers in the 1930s who hire an actor with a bad reputation named Leslie Grangely (McGregor) for their latest movie. When he hits the bottle and vanishes, his part is replaced by an extra (also Mcgregor) who resembles the actor. McGregor will also play those parts, as well as the parts they play in the movie being filmed by the producers.

Yes, it’s confusing. No denying it. But if his past experience of flashing his twig-and-berries in every flick has taught us anything, it’s that there’s no such thing as too much Ewan. Production will shoot next January in London.
