Fanboys is finally arriving in theaters, and the studio is trying to get the word out. We’ve seen new posters, the past week brought a clip, and now the marketing is complete with a website widget, counting down the final days until Fanboys arrives.
The widget is supposed to pull up show times for the movie in your choice of the eight major cities the movie is opening in and encourages fans to “take a road trip” to one of those cities, offering Fanboys prizes in a contest that isn’t available yet at the time this is being written. That’s okay - the show times aren’t available yet either, so the widget just looks nice and gives you a countdown.
