Feast Served Up On DVD In Short Order

The much anticipated horror movie Feast is coming to DVD. Wait a minute, was it ever in theaters?

The horror community was all aflutter about the film, after seeing it as the project de jour on Bravo's "Project Greenlight", but it never seemed to go anywhere. Now the movie will arrive in a theater or two for select, late-night showings on September 22nd and 23rd, but in an official press release sent to us tonight, Dimension is announcing that they'll be rushing it right on to DVD after that on October 17th.

Here's their official synopsis of what it's about: "Directed by “Project Greenlight” winner and first time filmmaker John Gulager, "Feast" is the terrifying tale of a motley crew of strangers who find themselves trapped in an isolated tavern and must band together in a battle for survival against a family of flesh-hungry creatures." >BR?>BR? Am I the only one that thinks flesh-eating is a little overdone? There has to be something else that monsters are interested in knowing on. Hair perhaps?

Though the movie won't be getting much of a theatrical run, they have released a poster for it, and we've got it. Feast your eyes on it below. Why does it make me think of Tremors?
