Variety reports that Keri Russell will star in an upcoming romantic comedy called Waitress. She will return to the food industry, playing a baker who is experiencing a drought in the love department. If she spends all day whipping up sweets, it must be tempting to consume large quantities of them. It would make it harder to find Mr.Right with her ass drooping down to the floor, but something tells me she will cling to her lean physique.

Writer/Director Adrienne Shelley is commanding the project. Russell recently starred in Steven Spielberg's western miniseries "Into The West", and joined the cast of Mission Impossible III.. I guess the room full of scary scientologist recruiters wasn't enough to put her off. A girl needs a little action flick in her diet.
