First Clip From New Marvel Short Film Item 47

Last year Marvel Studios developed and produced two short films that were released with the Blu-rays for Thor and Captain America: The First Avengers. Called "Marvel One Shots," both clips followed Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) as he dealt with official S.H.I.E.L.D. business. In the first short titled The Consultant, Coulson and his co-worker send Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) to meet with General Ross (William Hurt) with the purposes of sabotaging a negotiation; and in the second, called A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor's Hammer, Coulson meets up with two thugs trying to rob a convenience store and promptly disposes of them.

And now a third Marvel One Shot is on the way. The bad news is that Agent Coulson will not be featured, but the good news is that it has Lizzy Caplan in his place. Titled Item 47, the movie will be making its debut on the upcoming Avengers Blu-ray. You can read Katey's review of the short film from Comic Con HERE, but today delivers a special treat: the first clip from the film. Check it out!

The film stars Caplan and Jesse Bradford as a " modern-day Bonnie and Clyde" who become involved with an item left behind after the events of The Avengers: namely, one of the aliens' guns. The Avengers Blu-ray will be released on September 25th.
