Gerard Butler Is A Very Angry Leprechaun In New Image From Movie 43

Gerard Butler was a strange casting choice for the upcoming comedy omnibus film Movie 43. While the actor does have plenty of experience working with lighter fare, starring in movies such as The Bounty Hunter, The Ugly Truth, How To Train Your Dragon, it's more about the fact that he was born and raised in Paisley, Scotland and will be playing a leprechaun, a being typically seen in Irish folklore.

In the movie Butler stars in a segment also featuring Johnny Knoxville and Sean William Scott, and plays a gold-loving, foul-mouthed, tiny creature of legend (and if the red band trailer is any indication he seems to have some kind of obsession with balls). In anticipation of the movie's release at the start of next year, a brand new still from the film has been released featuring the Scottish star's character and I must say that it's quite weird. I can't say I woke up this morning expecting to see an image of a digitally shrunk Gerard Butler jumping out of a pot of gold firing two pistols, but I suppose that's just life. Featuring work from directors such as Steven Brill, Peter Farrelly, Will Graham, Steve Carr, and Elizabeth Banks, Movie 43 is a collection of short and raunchy comedy stories featuring all-star actors like Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Terrence Howard, Chloe Moretz, Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Emma Stone, Jason Sudeikis, Stephen Merchant Uma Thurman, Anna Faris, Chris Pratt and many, many more.
