Juno Temple Confirmed For The Dark Knight Rises

Last week, prior to the whole "is he/isn't he" debate surrounding Joseph Gordon-Levitt playing Alberto Falcone a.k.a. The Holiday Killer, the actor was confirmed for a part in The Dark Knight Rises, and a new name was floated: Juno Temple. Described as playing a "street-smart Gotham girl," the story said that she was being considered for a part, but that no deal had been made. That changed today. Variety reports that Temple is now "100% locked in," though further details about her character remain unknown.

Yet another actor hailing from the UK in Christopher Nolan's Batman universe, Temple is probably best known to American audiences for playing roles in the dismal Year One and Atonement. She recently starred in Jordan Scott's directorial debut, Cracks, in which she puts on a solid performance. But let's get down to the part we've all been waiting for, shall we? It's speculation time. What character do we see Temple possibly playing in the film, knowing what we do about the other roles? Could she be Holly "Go-Nightly" Robinson, Catwoman's sidekick? What about Stephanie Brown, a female Robin-type character? Could she be a version of Oracle that isn't Barbara Gordon? Leave your thoughts and guesses in the comments below.
