The name Hemsworth is quickly becoming as ubiquitous as Cruise or Pitt. The brothers Chris and Liam have literally exploded onto the scene, Chris taking on the starring role on Thor after stealing the show in the five minutes he spent on screen in Star Trek, and Liam, making huge waves after his casting in The Hunger Games, has earned himself a spot alongside action juggernauts Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone in The Expendables 2. It’s safe to say we’re going to be hearing a lot more from these guys and here’s your proof.

Liam, with five films already slated for release in 2012 in various stages of production, has added yet another to his laundry list of projects. MovieHole has it that the 21-year-old future star is ready to add Timeless to his upcoming projects. Scripted by Enchanted’s Bill Kelly, Timeless follows a mourning widower (Hemsworth) who decides to take the money his wife left him after her death to create a time machine so that he can see her one final time. Hemsworth broke onto the scene in the Miley Cyrus romancer The Last Song and will be returning to the genre here.

At the helm for Timeless is long time director Phillip Noyce, who doesn’t have a ton of experience in the drama/romance realm, but has proven himself as a great director over the years so it should be no trouble for him to adapt his style to a new genre and spread his wings. His most recent film, Salt, grossed nearly $300 million worldwide.

The brothers Hemsworth aren’t going away anytime soon, so guys you better get used to hearing your girlfriends swooning at them. They’re here to stay, and there’s two of them.
