Mr. Bean Tackles Agent Scully's Mom In Newest Johnny English Reborn Trailer

A few weeks ago, Rowan Atkinson was driving around in his McLaren F1 - a vehicle so awesome that it's categorized as a supercar - when he lost control of the vehicle, spun out, and crashed into a lampost and a tree. Just as the car was engulfed in flames, the British comedy star was able to escape with little injury. When writing up the story for our Pop section, our own Mack Rawden likened the situation to "something out of a James Bond movie." What Mack forgot is that Atkinson actually has a superspy character of his own, Johnny English, and today the second trailer for the sequel, Johnny English Reborn, arrived online.

Arriving eight years after the first film arrived in theaters, the new film has the bumbling British secret agent on the hunt for assassins targeting the Chinese premier. Using his series of gadgets and limited intelligence, he works to unravel a conspiracy that goes through the KGB, CIA and MI-7. The film co-stars Gillian Anderson, Dominic West, Rosamund Pike, Daniel Kaluuya and is directed by Oliver Parker. Johnny English Reborn is set to be released stateside on October 28.
