Nationwide Tron: Legacy Event To Show Off 20-Plus Minutes

Back in February, the people behind Tron: Legacy held a special event in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Syndey to show off the first trailer for the film in IMAX 3D. It goes without saying that the footage was breathless, but now those same marketing people are bringing you something even bigger: a 20+ minute first look.

A new website, www.tronnight2010.com, has launched promoting the event, which sounds as though it's in the same vein as Avatar Day from last year. Free tickets will be available on the site starting on October 12th at 1:00pm EST (also known as next Tuesday). As of now, tickets will only be available to those in the United States and Canada, but there are plans for international events. Head on over to the website to see a full list of states in which the event will be showing (and assume major cities).
