Shia Disturbed By Neighbors

Shia digs deep in Holes.

Holes and Greatest Game Ever Played star Shia Labeouf is set to work for D.J. Caruso, and no that doesn’t mean he’ll be joining the cast of “CSI: Miami” or starring in a sequel to Jade. Wrong Caruso.

Production Weekly reports that Shia will take the lead in Distrubia, a film about a troubled high school student grieving over his father’s death. When he loses control at school and has an outburst of anger, he’s sentenced to house arrest. Stuck at home he starts reliving the past work of Tom Hanks, by becoming convinced that his neighbor is a serial killer.

The film is written by Christopher Landon and directed by D.J. Caruso, whose last film Two for the Money slipped in and out of theaters with barely a whisper.
