Manipulative, propaganda pusher Michael Moore is back with a new piece of film this summer. This time, he’s taking on the healthcare industry in a flick called Sicko. The tough thing about Michael Moore movies, is that even when you agree with his point of view it’s hard to agree with his method of conveying it. If you saw Fahrenheit 9/11 and weren’t completely blinded by extremist zealotism when you watched it, then you know what I mean.
Unsavory tactics or not, his latest film is certain to make a splash. Moore is more of a provocateur than a documentary filmmaker these days, and Sicko will probably evoke outrage in nearly everyone who sees it, albeit for completely different reasons.
