It worries me to think that there are children out there that don't know about the muppets. Kermit and the gang have been such a huge part of so many generations' upbringing, the idea that a 10 year old doesn't know who Fozzy Bear is hurts my soul. It's been 12 years since everyone's favorite Jim Henson creations have been on the big screen, but next month that all changes: the muppets are ready to become famous again.

This trailer isn't as much as the parody trailers that have been coming out over the last few months, but it does a really good job explaining what the movie is about and, in a way, makes the movie seem kind of meta. It's a story about the muppets getting back together for the first time in a long time and fighting their way back to prominance, and that's exactly what the film itself is trying to do. I do find it strange that the soundtrack of choice is "Fuck You" by Cee Lo Green, but it is a catchy tune.

Directed by James Bobin and starring Jason Segel, Amy Adams, all of your favorite muppets and a slew of guest stars, The Muppets will hit theaters on November 23rd. For more about the movie, be sure to head over to our Blend Film Database.
