Watch The First 5 Minutes Of Banksy's Exit Through The Gift Shop

Exit Through the Gift Shop, one of the most fascinating and surprising films of this year's Sundance, finally comes to theaters on April 16th, giving the rest of the world to see exactly what a film made by an anonymous street artist looks like. Really, it's a much more straightforward documentary than you might expect, and a lot less self-serious and pretentious than you would fear from a guy who's art has sold for millions.

Though you really have to see the entire film to understand the wild appeal of Gift Shop, the first 5 minutes will give you a decent idea of what's there to look forward to. Starting with an energetic credits sequence that leads into a brief explanation from Banksy about his purpose in making the film, the clip introduces you to the film's subject, Thierry Guetta, and leads you to the moment that Banksy met Thierry, and the film really gets rolling.

Seriously, put aside all skepticism about a movie made by a street artist, and watch this clip below.
