With Shrek Forever After released and gone, there remains very little in the way of animation left this summer. Sure, The Last Airbender is due out next week, but M. Night had to go ahead and make that a live-action adaptation. What is left is Universal's Despicable Me, starring Steve Carell as the villainous Gru, and now we've received a bevy of clips that will get you in the mood to cheer for the bad guys.

Featuring grand missions of thievery, karate-training mothers, showdowns with enemies and dog dishes filled with candy, check out nearly 10 minutes of footage from this summer's next big animated film.
