This website first burst on to the scene back in 2001, the same year the first Harry Potter movie was released. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was one of my first ever, real press screenings. I still remember being packed into that little screening room, shoulder to shoulder with journalists who probably wouldn't normally even show to see a movie, but somehow landed a ticket for this one. The guy next to me was from some obscure radio station, but apparently not a very successful one, because he spent the thirty minutes we sat together waiting for the film to start, trying to talk me into giving him a job. I didn't have the heart to tell him that, at the time, I was still working as an engineer and that while he jabbered on endlessly I was deathly afraid that my boss would notice I'd vanished from my cubicle at one o'clock in the afternoon.
For nearly a decade now the Harry Potter movies have been an indelible part of what's happening at the movie theater.
