To say that the excitement surrounding Zack Snyder’s Justice League is mounting would be a complete understatement. With March 18th marking the day global release plans go into effect for this fan demanded take of what was once known as Justice League, Snyder’s final vision will be available to the public in a few short weeks. However, just how fans were going to be able to see the movie was a big question, and save for three territories, the film has just confirmed it’s ramping up its global release in an all-out barrage of options.

Zack Snyder himself took to Twitter to confirm what HBO Max had announced in a press release for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and you’re going to be able to see the film even if HBO Max isn't available in your region. In fact, the only way you won’t see the more improved visage of Henry Cavill’s Superman on March 18th is if you live in China, France, or Japan. However, there’s going to be an eventual plan for that, per Snyder’s big knowledge blast, seen below:

The reason this news is a pretty big deal is because, as initially announced, Zack Snyder’s Justice League looked like it was going to be an HBO Max exclusive. Which meant that if you lived in one of the territories where that platform didn’t reach, it looked like you were as out of luck as Jimmy Olsen in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. As there were discussions about everything from theatrical release options, as well as a general talk about how this epic event would have a worldwide reach, we didn’t exactly know how until today.

Which brings us to the big update you saw above. If you want Zack Snyder’s Justice League on your screen, so long as you’re not in China, France, or Japan, you’ll get to join in on the fun on March 18th. And if you don’t have/want HBO Max, you’ll be able to digitally rent or purchase the film through VOD providers and retailers. This was already shaping up to be a pretty huge happening as it was, but now with the release model being blown wide open, Zack Snyder’s Justice League could potentially be a hit larger in scale than any other in the current climate of home video prominence.

After fans have waited so long to see Zack Snyder’s Justice League take to the skies, the wait will finally be over on March 18th. And now, you’ll clearly have your pick of how you want to enjoy the long awaited experience. But if you are interested in sampling the four-hour long experience before buying it, signing up for an HBO Max subscription is probably the best option to get in on the fun.
