New York Comic Con Is Officially Bigger Than San Diego's

NYCC's four-day run, more than 130,000 people came to the Javits Center at the edge of Manhattan to revel in all things geek culture. According to the paper, this beats out San Diego International Comic Con's headcount, and thereby solidifies NYCC's place as major cultural force.

Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Series Premiere Review

If a pilot’s job is to both establish the world that a show exists in and make audiences excited for episode two, then it’s hard to find anything to complain about in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. With an awesome ensemble of characters, some great action, and strong ties to the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will make fanboys everywhere smile, it’s hard not to be psyched for what they have in store for us next.

Ron Moore Is As Surprised As Anyone He's Working On Helix

During the Helix panel at Comic Con, Ron Moore talked about how he repeatedly refused to read the script for the show’s pilot because the subject matter just wasn’t really in his wheelhouse. Considering the highly anticipated SyFy channel original is very much inside the science fiction genre and seeks to examine larger ethical questions, Moore’s stated apprehension confused more than a few people.

Wilfred 2013 Comic-Con Panel Recap

Making its third appearance at SDCC, the Wilfred panel finally managed to avoid questions about The Hobbit. FX's surreal comedy about a mentally disturbed young man and the odd relationship he has with his neighbor's dog or, more appropriately, man in a dog suit stars Elijah Wood and he appeared on the panel via satellite while Jason Gann, Fiona Gubelmann and Dorian Brown as well as showrunners Eli Jorné and Reed Agnew and executive producer David Zuckerman were all in there in person.

Hugh Jackman Wore His Full Wolverine Costume At Comic-Con... And Nobody Noticed

Jackman's story sounds kind of fantastical given how incredibly popular he is, but having now attended San Diego Comic-Con for the last four years I can tell you that it's actually a fairly believable story. Between the insane crowds, all of the rushing around and the dank smell of nerd sweat that lingers in the air, it's occasionally hard to fully process your surroundings.

5 Crazy Things About Comic-Con You Can Only Learn By Being There

I learned the stench a mass of nerds camping out leaves. I felt the horrific annoyance of going through an exit and having to walk in a giant circle to get back to an entrance. For the first time, I truly took it all in.

Watch The X-Men Comic-Con Reunion You Didn't See In Full Press Conference Video

Even though the surprise might have gotten a little spoiled, the arrival of the entire X-Men: Days of Future Past cast onstage at Comic-Con last Saturday was still a huge moment, inspiring the kind of emotional reactions in comics fans that are usually reserved for the Twilight screamers in Hall H (and hey, who says Ian McKellen doesn't deserve the Robert Pattinson treatment?)

Black Widow's Loyalty And Howling Commandos: Joe And Anthony Russo Talk Captain America

Before all of the madness went down in Hall H, I had the chance to dig deep into the movie with the directors in a one-on-one interview a few hours before the big Marvel Studios panel. Check out our conversation below, in which the Russos talk about how the movie sets up the events in The Avengers 2, Black Widow’s ever changing morality, and more.

Partying With The Walking Dead And Weezer At Comic Con

Comic-Con is a lot of things, one of which is an opportunity for celebrity encounters. With so many TV shows and movies being promoted here, there are no shortage of famous and familiar faces, and we saw some of them on Friday night at The Walking Dead party, which began with a black carpet celebrity arrival and led into a rocking outdoor party set up in a parking lot, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Robert Kirkman's beloved zombie comic The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead Challenges Fans To Design The Baddest Zombie Survival Car

If you were tasked with building the ultimate zombie-survival automobile, what would it look like? Would it have machetes on the hood? Automatic shotguns attached to the driver-side window? Flame throwers? It seems like you have to have a flame thrower or two. These are the questions being asked by the folks behind The Walking Dead Chop Shop.

Watch The Entire Marvel Studios Comic-Con Panel

Comic-Con is over, and all the biggest news from the event-- the new title for The Avengers 2, the role Benicio del Toro will play in Guardians of the Galaxy, the Superman-Batman showdown-- have been chewed over by us endlessly. But that doesn't mean it's not worth revisiting the hype and excitement one last time, by watching the entire Marvel Studios panel in the video above

Under The Dome Comic-Con Panel Live Blog

It's Sunday and things at Comic-Con are starting to wind down, though there are still a few big panels set to take place. CBS' new summer series Under the Dome is one of them. For those of you who can't be here, I'll be doing the play-by-play of the panel here in Room 6BCF for you! Expected panelists include stars of the CBS drama, Dean Norris, Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, as well as executive producers Brian K. Vaughan, Neal Bear and Jack Bender.

Community Comic-Con 2013 Live Blog

Few comedies on television have gone through as much drama as Community has, but the future is looking pretty damn bright. NBC has renewed the show for a fourth season, Chevy Chase - who was at the center of many of the series’ behind the scenes problems – has graduated and moved on, and (most importantly) creator Dan Harmon is back as showrunner.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Props And Costumes Revealed In Comic-Con Exhibit

It wasn't a surprise that Guardians of the Galaxy showed up at Comic-Con-- as we've learned in the past, Marvel Studios is a big fan of pulling out the unexpected at Comic-Con, even bringing in the casts of movies that are currently in production on the other side of the globe. What was a surprise, though, is how much the very rough Guardians of the Galaxy footage blew the crowd away

Doctor Who Comic-Con 2013 Live Blog

At San Diego Comic-Con there are few franchises that get people as excited as Doctor Who. Every year you can walk back and forth in front of the convention center and on the exhibit floor and see an endless number of fans walking around dressed as their favorite Doctor or companion. Naturally, the Doctor Who panel is one of the biggest presentations during the entire event, but this year is even more special than usual.

Video Interviews: Being Human Cast And Showrunner Discuss Season 4

Among the many TV series featured at Comic-Con this year was Syfy's Being Human, and I had the opportunity to sit down with the cast and showrunner to talk about what's ahead for Aidan, Josh, Sally and Nora when the series returns for its fourth season. It should go without saying that there will be spoilers for those who aren't caught up through Season 3, so please keep that in mind before reading on or watching the videos.

Breaking Bad Comic-Con 2013 Live Blog

This summer will mark the beginning of the end of one of the greatest television shows of all time.
