Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory likes to keep fans guessing when it comes to her hair. Over the weekend, the 31-year-old television actress debuted new silvery locks, and she used the most delicious, summery description to describe the color. Cuoco took to social media to show off the new look, and she dubbed it "sherbet hair." She posted:
Yum! Sherbet hair sounds like something out of a whimsical ice cream wonderland. Kaley Cuoco shared the image with her 3.2 million followers on Instagram, where the photo received mostly positive comments from fans who said the icy color looked like it came from a futuristic movie like Blade Runner. Cuoco thanked her hairstylist, Faye Woods, for helping her achieve the frosty hue.
The new hair color is also visible in a photo Kaley Cuoco posted of herself and her English bulldog enjoying a day at the horse track. (Cuoco is a major animal lover. She loves dogs, horses, and unicorns.) Check out the photo here:
It certainly is not the first time Kaley Cuoco has surprised us with a daring new hairdo. In 2014, the actress chopped off her hair (with help from Faye Woods) and sported a beautiful Audrey Hepburn-style pixie cut. Not long afterward, she added pink to her short hairdo, as you can see here:
A couple of years later, Cuoco was rocking the lob. In fact, in April 2016 she added extensions to lengthen the lob look she had been wearing for a while, and she took to social media to talk about her reasons, posting,
So, she chops her locks to make sure she gets time away from her Big Bang Theory character. The silvery locks look attractive on Kaley Cuoco, and it is cool to see her having fun with her hair. The trend of going silver has gained a lot of support in recent years. Pink tried it out way back in 2010. Then the silvery, white hair color hit a peak around the time Lady Gaga was working with it back in 2015. Hillary Duff, Kylie Jenner, and Lourdes Leon each tried out similar looks, too.
We don't know how long Kaley Cuoco will stay with the gray, but it looks fun, and we're glad to see her trying new styles.
