Post Malone's Jet Made An Emergency Landing, And His Reaction Was Priceless

Post Malone "Psycho" Music Video

Post Malone was involved in a turbulent flight, to say the least. As it was reported yesterday, the musician was on a private plane in New Jersey that was set to go to London when things went quickly awry. To be more specific, the plane needed to make an emergency landing because two of the jet's tires reportedly blew off when the air vehicle took off. That's a very, very scary ordeal to go through, to say the least, and Post Malone's reaction to the emergency plane landing was understanding tense. Suffice to say, a few cuss words might've been uttered, and Post Malone needed a drink afterward. First, here's what Post Malone had to say about his eventual (and very intense and unsettling) mid-week flight that didn't exactly go according to plan.

Oh my god. I hate flying in general. I don't even know what to say, man. I'm shook. That's one hell of a team on the aircraft. We're here, and we're on Earth. And I need a beer and some wine at the same time mixed together.

Here's what we know about Post Malone's terrifying private plane ordeal. According to airplane audio obtained by TMZ, the jet was set to embark on its trajectory when the pilot claims that they lost a tire. The pilot then asks permission to circle above, when air traffic control reportedly asks the pilot to fly to Massachusetts, in order to burn some more fuel for a safer possible landing. The plane allegedly held 3,700 gallons of fuel at that time. As the plane continued to burn fuel, it changed course for another airport in New York, where it continued hovering and burning fuel before it made its expected emergency landing. As the plane was getting ready to land, there were reportedly nine fire trucks, 12 ambulances, and at least 25 personnel.

Once it was ready to land, the plane safely arrived at Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, NY, and nobody appears to be hurt by the incident. Still, as Post Malone admitted, it did leave the musician shaken, and he found himself needing a drink or two once the plane landed. It is worth noting that Post Malone is already not a fan of flying, so this whole ordeal couldn't have been fun. Nevertheless, he's safe and back on land.

Post Malone also responded to the flight by saying the following statement to his fans.

i landed guys. thank you for your prayers. can't believe how many people wished death on me on this website. fuck you. but not today.

Post Malone was last seen performing at the VMAs on Monday night, where the rapper won Song of the Year for "Rockstar." He performed the single with Aerosmith and 21 Savage that evening as well. You can be sure to find more updates on Post Malone's life and career right here at CinemaBlend.
