Amber Heard doesn't need your criticism. Recently, Heard was seen walking around sans bra, and noisy online commenters felt they had the right to put down her attire, suggesting she had a "wardrobe malfunction." In response to these pesky responses, Amber Heard had some words of her own.
I don't care what people have to say about my fashion choices. I dress for my own self. However, to say I had a malfunction because you could see my body? I'm not ashamed of it. I don't care how it looks to you or the effect it has on you. How dare you tell me it's a malfunction? My nipples or any part of me are not a malfunction.
Amber Heard delivered her sharp retort to these commenters during the London premiere of Aquaman, the DC adaptation she stars in alongside Jason Momoa, on Monday. She didn't hold back in her negative feelings towards these oversharing people about her revealing clothing, saying that she felt she was allowed to wear whatever she wanted to wear, and she doesn't care what other people have to say about her fashion choices. She's proud of her body and she's happy to put on whatever she wants to wear -- or choose not to wear, in this particular case. Other people just need to deal with it.
As Amber Heard told Entertainment Tonight exclusively, it's her body and it's her right to choose what she puts on, and she doesn't need anyone's condescending attitude suggesting that any revealing outfit she wears is a wardrobe malfunction. This is not the first time she has been outspoken about body positivity and vocal about expressing herself however she pleases. These comments continue the actress' tradition of speaking her mind.
Aquaman is Amber Heard's next project, and she'll be seen in Warner Bros.' big, expensive blockbuster when it splashes into theaters on December 21st. Additionally, Heard was also recently seen (or not, based on its dire box office results) in London Fields, the controversial erotic mystery-thriller. She can also be seen in Her Smell, which recently hit the festival circuit, which comes to theaters on March 29th, 2019. She is also soon set to appear in the drama Gully, which comes out sometime next year, and she is attached to the upcoming romantic-thriller Run Away with Me, which should film soon.
We're glad to know Amber Heard isn't afraid to speak her mind and let people know what she thinks of their critical thoughts. Meanwhile, for more updates on the forthcoming release of Aquaman, one of the biggest movies of the final month of 2018, you should definitely expect to hear more soon.
