Kyle Glover, Usher's Stepson, Gone At 11

Earlier this month, Usher’s stepson Kyle Glover, only eleven, was tragically run over by a jet ski while tubing with his friends in Lake Lanier. He was rushed to the hospital immediately, but by the time he arrived, there was little doctors could do. His brain had sustained massive injuries, and a machine was needed to help him breath.

Over the past few weeks, Kyle’s devoted mother Temaka Foster prayed by his beside and hoped for a miracle. Sadly, that miracle never came. On the advisement of doctors, Kyle was taken off life support today, and he passed shortly thereafter. According to TMZ, no one has spoken publically yet, but sources close to the family are saying everyone involved is absolutely devastated.

Losing a loved one is always hard, but losing a child with his entire life in front of him is among the most painful things a parent could ever go through. Usher and Tameka have reportedly put aside their well-publicized squabbles since the accident and are doing their best to get along. Hopefully that spirit of togetherness will continue.

The family friend who hit Glover with the jet ski has talked with the police. It’s still unknown whether he will face any charges, but authorities have announced alcohol was in no way involved.

Pop Blend’s thoughts go out to the entire family during this difficult time.
