Matthew Fox Accused Of Beating Women, Do You Buy It?
Last summer, Matthew Fox was accused of an utterly strange crime. He was reportedly drinking and having a grand old time when he spotted a party bus and decided to hitch a ride. The actor didn’t know anyone on board; so, he was denied entrance. Some kind of verbal argument ensued, at which point Fox supposedly cocked back and punched the driver square in the vagina. Unwilling to take any shit, she supposedly hit him back, landing a punch on his nose and causing him to spit up blood.
Obviously, hitting a woman isn’t amusing, but since he allegedly got his shit rocked, most people wrote the incident off as a drunken mistake he paid for in blood and pride. He denied the allegation, and the world moved on. Now, for the second time however, he stands accused of hitting a woman and not just one either. The allegation came, not from any of the supposed victims, but from Fox's Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan who said earlier this week Fox beats women “often”.
The comments came during a Q&A on Twitter, and they were repeated several times. At one point, Monaghan even said he wasn’t claiming but knew for a fact Fox has gotten physical with women before. The accused has yet to speak publicly in his own defense, but several sources close to him have already come forward and flatly denied the actor has ever hit a woman. Why Monaghan would make up such a charge is anyone’s guess because the two reportedly never were on bad terms.
Matthew Fox never struck me as a menace prior to the incident last summer, but now, I have no idea what to think. How do you see it? Do you buy these allegations against him, or do you think people are lying? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
