NBC Newswomen Jenna Wolfe And Stephanie Gosk Are Having A Baby

Popular weekend Today Show anchor Jenna Wolfe made a special appearance on the weekday edition of the NBC staple this morning to share some extremely exciting news about her personal life. Apparently, she’s been in a relationship with her co-worker, foreign correspondent Stephanie Gosk, for more than two years, and Wolfe is pregnant with the couple’s first baby.

Wolfe never expected to be a mother or feel so domesticated, but over the past year or so, she and Gosk both decided adding another member to the family was the right call. The baby, who they recently found out is a girl, is due in August, which can’t come soon enough considering how difficult the first four months have been. Here’s what Jenna wrote on the pregnancy blog she’ll be keeping from this point forward…

”B-R-U-T-A-L. There were days when all I could eat were Saltine crackers, Apple Jacks dry cereal and plain pasta. Let's just say I have a newfound respect for any woman anywhere who tells me they've experienced morning sickness.”

Let’s just be honest. The Today Show has been a mess of ugly headlines for awhile now. Between Ann Curry’s firing, blowing off the 9/11 ceremony and Matt Lauer’s resignation offer, there haven’t been a whole lot of smiles to go around for the once dominant morning show. Today’s episode, and specifically this segment, was a good reminder of how much of a family the anchors can truly seem when it all works properly.

Pop Blend’s sincerest congratulations go out to Jenna and Stephanie during this exciting time. Here’s to hoping this little girl only increases their happiness.
