America's Got Talent: The Champions has some fierce competition in its finals round, as the best of the best are all delivering flawless performances from start to finish. With that said, one unique competitor has stood out amongst the crowd, mainly thanks to her unique talent and her amazing ability to tell a story with it. Check out Kseniya Simonova's sand drawing below, and be amazed at how emotional a performance she gave.
Damn, was that a 4D experience or something? There's a bit of sand in my eye that caused me to tear up after watching Kseniya Simonova paint that initially tragic but heartwarming story of love and war. That's only half of the allure, as it's simply stunning how Simonova manages to craft such incredible images with just a few simple hand gestures. That part where she crafted a woman's face just by angling her hand a certain way is unreal.
The judges were in awe yet again of Kseniya Simonova's performance, and lauded the artist for her stage act. Even host Terry Crews got in on the action, as he maintained he made the right decision in choosing her for his Golden Buzzer. There's no denying Simonova is one of the stronger competitors in America's Got Talent: The Champions, but is she talented enough to beat out everyone else and be named the champion of champions?
She's definitely got a shot, as the foreign competitor first blew minds when she won the inaugural season of Ukraine's Got Talent. It was a tremendous achievement for Kseniya Simonova, who turned to sand drawing at the suggestion of her husband after a magazine they ran together ended up folding. Simonova went through a couple types of sands with no success, until her husband bought an expensive type of volcanic sand that ended up making the talent viable.
Since then Simonova has traveled the world and touched the lives of many with her sand art. She's led a successful career outside of the Got Talent franchise, but a win on America's Got Talent: The Champions might elevate her career even further than before. She's got some stiff competition in fellow competitors like Susan Boyle and Cristina Ramos, but it goes without saying they are in danger of losing out in the competition to her.
Will Kseniya Simonova be crowned the winner of America’s Got Talent: The Champions? Audiences will find out during part two of the finals round, which is happening Monday, February 18 beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET. Television is only ramping up from that point on, so be sure to stay in the loop with all things happening on television in the coming months by visiting and bookmarking our midseason premiere guide.
