New Falcon And The Winter Soldier Video Hilariously Solves An Avengers: Endgame Mystery

After WandaVision teased a bit of what's to come for Wanda Maximoff and Vision in the MCU, Marvel fans have set their sights on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and are eager for what's to come in the upcoming Disney+ series. Hopefully, the show will deliver answers regarding Captain America's future and reveal other answers for fans, because it's already given us one I doubt any expected about Avengers: Endgame.

The reveal came from an Xbox ad in which Anthony Mackie reprised his role as Sam Wilson, and played games with a familiar face. Alongside him is actor D.C. Pierson, who played the Apple store employee, Aaron, in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It turns out that Aaron also had some role to play in Avengers: Endgame, though fans didn't know about it until this commercial. Take a look:

Yes, it seems as though an Xbox tie-in with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has revealed the identity of the infamous NoobMaster69. For those who may not remember, that's the name of the gamer on Fortnite who harrassed Korg and was subsequently threatened by Thor for doing so. What a small world it is that Aaron would happen to be that toxic gamer, provided, of course, it was actually him.

As mentioned in the commercial, Aaron said it was his cousin who set up the account. In Avengers: Endgame, Thor mentioned NoobMaster69 "crying to his daddy" after the god of thunder threatened to shove the gamer's arms up his own butt. This is just a theory, but it's possible Aaron's cousin was gaming that day and not Aaron, hence the immature behavior and crying.

I originally assumed the easter egg was cute, but invalid, because Korg played Fortnite on a PlayStation 4 in Avengers: Endgame, but that may not be the case. Avengers: Endgame was released in 2019, which was about a year after Sony allowed Fortnite to cross-platform play with Xbox and other gaming devices. This made it completely plausible that Aaron's Gamertag was from his Xbox One and migrated over to his Xbox Series X or S account. He also could've been a PS4 owner a couple of years ago and decided to make a switch.

This likely isn't the type of reveal Marvel fans hoped for with the release of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but it is awesome all the same. Hopefully, the bigger stuff will be saved for the Disney+ series, which has already gotten rave reviews in early screenings. however, even the early birds have only seen the opening episode.

For everyone else, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier premieres on Disney+ this Friday, March 19. CinemaBlend will have lots of thoughts following the premiere and all season long, so be sure to get amped up for the coming Marvel series by watching the final trailer on repeat.
