Spelling anything wrong in an advertising proposal is a good way to see the job go to someone else. Spelling the creator’s name wrong in an advertising proposal is as close to a guarantee of failure as one can get. Unfortunately for one of the teams, that’s exactly what happened this week, and not surprisingly, that project manager got the big ugly axe.

The celeb-testants were tasked with creating an advertising campaign for the Donald’s wife, Melania Trump, and her beauty line. One team, led by Penn Jillette, went with the phrase “Let Your Skin Taste The Luxury”. On the whole, they did remarkably well, chugging forward with a nice team chemistry and putting on a simple, yet efficient presentation that only sunk briefly when the magician referred to Melania as the spokeswoman rather than the creator.

The other group, owners of a less than impressive losing streak, were led by Dennis Rodman and went with the phrase “Simply Luxury…Simply Melania”. Brande’s presentation was also very well received by Melania and the other executive. Unfortunately, in big letters on the top of the display, the team’s advertisement said “Milania”, which didn’t sit too well with the Trump family. Maybe the girl typing out the advertisement was to blame. Maybe Trace, who designed the advertisement was to blame, but the Donald ultimately decided to blame the project manager who signed off on the design, officially ending a run highlighted by Dennis outfoxing Omarosa.

The Celebrity Apprentice Power Rankings are an ordered compilation of weekly lists put together by TV Blend writers Mack Rawden and Jessica Rawden. Each week after viewing the episode, they each rank the competitors in order. Fourteen points are given for a first place vote, and this week, seven were given for a last place vote. Six competitors have already been eliminated; therefore, those already eliminated automatically occupy the bottom slots. Here is how this week’s voting panned out, complete with analysis on how the celebrities might fare moving forward.

The Favorites
#1) Trace Adkins (26): Trace made a big flub this week, not paying attention when one of the Celebrity Apprentice graphics assistants unfortunately misspelled Trump’s wife’s name. The country music singer has kind of been in a funk ever since he was forced to switch teams, but hopefully, he’ll be back in the game once the teams are forced to move a few more players around. Trace has the capacity to be creative as well as has a strong list of connections, and should be in the game for some time, still, as long as he refrains from making any more silly mistakes.

#2) Penn Jillette (25): Whoever edited this episode decided to focus quite a bit on Penn’s two errors as project manager (his treatment of Eric Trump and his usage of “spokeswoman” rather than “creator” in the presentation), but reading between the lines, he seemed to do extremely well. His teammates were engaged and played hard. His slogan was clean and effective, and he was praised by everyone in the boardroom. All in all, he was a good leader and remains one of the favorites.

#2) Lil Jon (25): Lil Jon basically created the advertising platform his team used this week. It was a pretty good idea, too, framing Melania Trump’s products in gold so that they looked extremely appealing. However, it wasn’t enough to earn his team a win. Still, if Lil Jon can keep tossing out sound ideas, I don’t foresee him going home anytime soon.

#4) Marilu Henner (24): Marilu Henner was Penn’s rock this week and quite frankly, a challenge like presenting beauty projects seems far more up Marilu’s alley than it was Penn’s. Marilu both contributed ideas and shopped around for props the teams could use. She was a strong worker bee this time around, but we can’t wait to see how she does when she takes on the role of project manager, once more.
The Contenders
#5) Brande Roderick (20): Brande has mostly spent tasks in the backdrop, contributing what she can without making waves. However, this week she stepped up her game immensely to fill the void since Dennis Rodman clearly had no idea how to step up as a project manager. Brande prepared a really nice presentation for the team, and while she was a little shaky while speaking, her speech was really nice and hit all the key points. If she can keep up that level of work effort, she should stick around for a while longer.

#6) Lisa Rinna (18): Lisa was basically Marilu’s wingman this week, and she did quite well for herself. She was engaged and helpful throughout, and regardless of what happens, she should be very proud of herself. Her first time on Apprentice wasn’t exactly anything to write home about, but this year, she’s been a solid contributor throughout the competition.

#7) Stephen Baldwin (16): Apparently, when Stephen Baldwin isn’t operating any of his wild schemes, he’s actually a pretty fun guy. That’s what we found out this week when he largely behaved himself, contributed and shared more than a few laughs with his fellow players, the clear highlight being him making fun of the other team after the competition for spelling Melania with an “i” instead of an “a”, which, of course, is wrong too.

#8) Gary Busey (14): Gary is the only player left in the competition who has not been project manager. Technically, there’s no rule saying the players have to give everyone a chance, but thanks to scenes from next week, we know he’s going to lead the ship. Being project manager hasn't always gone well for him in the past, but with a supporting cast that hasn’t quite reached the end of its rope with him yet, it’s possible this time will go a little better.
