My only experience with the TBS comedy My Boys is from the commercials they ran for it in movie theaters a few years back. I vaguely remember thinking series lead Jordana Spiro was cute, and I think I might even have chuckled a couple of times. Apparently those commercials were more successful at roping in others than they were me, because Variety reports that TBS is bringing the show back for a fourth season.
My Boys stars Spiro as a Chicago sportswriter whose best friends all happen to be guys. One of those friends had been stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan, but apparently he’s not coming back for the fourth season. The show should return in 2010. Congratulations, My Boys fans, whomever you may be.
