NBC isn’t the only network to unveil their 2012 Midseason schedule today. CBS posted theirs as well and it looks like changes are minimal when the primetime line-up resumes this January. The network’s updates include the addition of ¡ROB! and the return of Undercover Boss.

This will likely be the last time I use the technically-correct title of Rob Schneider’s new comedy ¡ROB!, since copy/pasting the upside-down exclamation point may become tedious, assuming ¡ROB! sticks around long enough for it to become annoying. What is it with CBS and hard-to-type comedy titles (see also $h*! My Dad Says)? I’m all for acknowledging Spanish punctuation, but my keyboard isn’t. ¡ROB! is on the schedule to join The Big Bang Theory on Thursday nights on CBS. Rules of Engagement isn’t on the schedule right now, but CBS says it will be back to its 8:30 p.m. time-slot later this season.

Fans of Undercover Boss will be pleased to see that the unscripted series will be back for Season 3 on January 15th. As for The Amazing Race, the reality competition series will be back at some point during midseason 2012, but no date has been announced yet.
