Comic Con: Wizard's First Rule Retitled, New Casting

Last spring we reported that X-Files writer/producer John Shiban had signed on to exec produce the upcoming Sam Raimi/Rob Tapert TV series based on Wizard’s First Rule, which is the first book in the epic fantasy series by Terry Goodkind, The Sword of Truth. News from comic-con came in today that some of the cast has been announced as well as the official title for the series.
The title of the series will be Legend of the Seeker. As for the casting announcements that were made, Bruce Spence, whose acting credits include playing the voice of Chum (one of the recovering fish-aholic sharks) in Finding Nemo, as well as a small role in The Matrix Revolutions, will be playing the role of Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander. Jay Laga'Aia, who played Captain Typho in the second and third Star Wars prequels, has been cast for the part of Chase Brandstone. And finally, Craig Parker, who you might remember from his role as Haldir in the first two Lord of the Rings movies, will play the role of Darken Rahl.
