Conan Gifts Amanda Seyfried A Stuffed Raccoon, And Slackliner Andy Lewis Performs

Amanda Seyfried (Big Love, Veronica Mars) appeared on Conan last night to talk about her upcoming movie Gone, which arrives in theaters this weekend. Just prior to setting up the clip that was to be shown on the episode, a discussion about taxidermy came up, which prompted Conan to give the actress what may be the weirdest gift a talk show host has given a guest... a dead animal.

Seyfried’s interest in taxidermy and her apparent collection of animals is exactly the kind of thing one would expect to learn about a celebrity during a late night talk show interview. It’s these quirky bits of trivia that can often add a few laughs and an interesting anecdote or two. In this case, it allowed Conan to find a home for his Screeching Jetpack Raccoon, which I’m pretty sure goes back to his Late Night days. Check out the video below and see how Seyfried reacts to her gift.

Unrelated to flying raccoons, also on last night’s episode also featured Slackline performer Andy Lewis and his fellow slackliners. It’s definitely worth a look...

Conan airs weeknights at 11:00 p.m. ET on TBS.
