We’re less than two weeks away from the Season 21 opener of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, but before we can put on our dancing shoes and hit the stage floor, we probably need to know what celebrities are going to be up for elimination this year. Thankfully, ABC has finally dropped a full list on the world, and it’s got everyone from musicians to actors to the recent Triple Crown winner. But, sadly, former judge Len Goodman won’t be there this time around.
Let’s kick things off with the Busey-est celebrity in the history of Hollywood.
An actor who’s appeared in films such as Predator 2, Point Break and The Firm, Gary Busey almost always gives a memorable performance, no matter what he’s on. Even if it’s just a commercial. He’s also no stranger to reality TV, having appeared on Celebrity Rehab, Celebrity Wife Swap, Celebrity Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother U.K., which he won. He’ll be waltzing around with Russian ballroom dancer Anna Trebunskaya.
A chef and former Food Network star who was fired after her past use of racial slurs came to light, Paula Deen has climbed her way back the limelight through a Deen-centric website and Roku channel that showcase her many cookbooks and recipes. She’ll be partnered with Dutch-American professional dancer and choreographer Louis van Amstel. We assume she’ll be buttering up the floor when her competitors are about to dance.
One surprising entry to the Dancing with the Stars universe is Army National Guard Specialist Alek Skarlatos, who has been all over the news recently after he and two of his friends disarmed and took down a would-be murderer who was on the brink of attacking riders on a Paris-bound train in August. We’ve also got jockey Victor Espinoza, who became the first Hispanic jockey to win the Triple Crown, which he did atop American Pharoah. As well, you can expect to see musicians such as the Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, Tamar Braxton, Andy Grammer, Chaka Khan and more. Below, you’ll find a full list of the celebs and their partners.
