Dexter took a vacation from tracking the Doomsday killer during Sunday night’s episode of Dexter, but based on one of the videos we have to show you from this Sunday’s episode, it looks like he’s getting back on track. Meanwhile, Professor Gellar pays a visit to Travis.

? There’s a theory going around about Gellar, which now seems almost too obvious, concerning whether or not he actually exists. Is it possible that the Gellar we’re seeing is actually a figment of Travis’ imagination? Have we seen him interact with anyone else besides Travis? Something to ponder. While it would be interesting to see that Dexter isn’t the only person talking to an imaginary father-figure, I actually hope there’s a little more to it than that, if this theory turns out to be true.

This first clip has Professor Gellar paying Travis a visit. It looks like he might have his sights set on Travis’ sister as the replacement-whore.

Meanwhile, Dexter is back from Nebraska. In this video, it looks like Deb is getting him caught up on what’s been going on with the Doomsday case...

Miami Metro is catching up with Dexter on this Doomsday business. That isn’t news, as we saw the list they had with Travis’ name and face on it, but will knowing this prompt Dexter to get his mind back on this case? And will anything interesting come from Brother Sam’s funeral, or is that just a bit of closure for the character arc?

Dexter airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on Showtime.
