Spoilers if you aren't caught up on last Sunday's episode of Dexter ("Sunshine And Frosty Swirl"). Last Sunday's episode of Dexter introduced us to a character named Wayne Randall, who - based on how the episode ended - won't be around in the future. Before he died, he mentioned his girlfriend and partner-in-crime-spree Hannah McKay. The video for next week's episode, "Buck the System," we'll get to meet Hannah, played by Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski.
Dexter's encounter with Wayne Randall was not only interesting because his chat with the murderer caused him to reflect on his own ability to "surrender" to his conscience, but it also allowed for the disturbing moment when Randall stepped out in front of a truck while Dexter watched on (and Deb came running, while double-fisting some soft-serve). While Daniel Buran's appearance as Randall may have been a one-off, the character will live on in memory as it brings us to Strahovski's Hannah. She was the Robin to Randall's Batman, and based on this clip, it looks like Dexter's going to make contact with her lip this Sunday night.
Was it me, or were there some sparks flying between these two? We know he likes them blonde and based on her relationship with Randall, we know she likes them dark. These two may be a match made in… some place probably not good. It may be too soon to call, based on this first, brief and mostly-professional encounter, but Dexter's due for some romance.
Dexter airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on Showtime.
