One of the new shows this fall that has yet to debut but seems incredibly promising is Fox's latest addition to the Animation Domination block on Sunday nights called Allen Gregory. The cartoon was created by actor-comedian Jonah Hill with Andrew Mogul and Jarrad Paul, and will finally premiere in just about two weeks. Hill voices the lead character, a pretentious and, until now, home-schooled 7 year old socialite who's forced to finally interact with kids his own age.

Joining Hill to voice the comedy, is a stellar cast that includes French Stewart (yes, he's back), Nat Faxon, Leslie Mann, Jake Johnson and the amazing Will Forte. Forte is probably best known for his work as a cast member on Saturday Night Live for many seasons before branching out to do other things like great cameos in 30 Rock and Parks and Recreation as well as starring in one of the funniest movies of the last few years, MacGruber (based on one of his SNL skits). KFBR932.

Forte is a definite asset to any show and it seems like AG is putting him through the ringer and getting as much out of the funnyman as possible. Watch him do a few of the many voices he'll provide for the new series.

The show was one of the best new things I was able to catch at San Diego Comic-Con, so I will definitely be tuning in for the premiere. They only showed a '10 minute pilot presentation' but I was totally taken by those ten minutes. They were full of laughs and a surprising amount of heart. I think this could take over as the best animated show in the block (not that that's hard these days with the steadily declining quality of Fox's Sunday night Animated programming).

Allen Gregory debuts on Fox at 8:30 p.m. ET on October 30, right after The Simpsons' "Treehouse of Horror" episode.
