As we inch closer to April 2012, HBO continues to give us little glimpses at the second season of Game of Thrones. Today’s sneak peek comes in the form of a video that looks behind the scenes of the coordination of fights and stunts. This includes a look at the Hound.

Based on what we’re told in the video below, we should expect something a bit more grittier when Season 2 of HBO’s Game of Thrones returns next spring. In addition to more than a few glimpses of fight-sequences being practice and filmed, the video features Paul Herbert (Stunt Supervisor), Dave Forman (Assistant Stunt Coordinator), and CC Smiff (Sword Master) as they talk about how they handle the action in the series, which does feature its fair share of blood, swords and violence.

You may have also noticed Rory McCann giving the thumbs up and looking much more cheerful than his character Sandor Clegane (a.k.a. The Hound) typically is, as he gets his burn-make-up touched up.
