Great news for fans of Game of Thrones dropped this afternoon in the form of a premiere date. I think I speak for everyone when I say, “finally.” Season 5 of HBO’s hit fantasy drama will be hitting the schedule on Sunday, April 12. HBO has also announced premiere dates and times for Veep and Silicon Valley on the same evening. The premiere date is a bit later in April compared to the last couple of season premieres, but that’s nothing to complain about.

All three shows were renewed for 10 episodes last year, and Game of Thrones, Veep and Silicon Valley will air in the same order they hit the schedule in last year. Season 5 of Game of Thrones will headline the night, hitting the schedule at 9 p.m. ET. HBO’s release notes that Season 2 of Silicon Valley will hit the schedule at 10 p.m. ET. Veep’s fourth season will air last, at 10:30 p.m. ET. That is, unless you live on the West Coast and get the East Coast feeds. Then you can watch your favorite programs starting at 6 p.m. PT, which is pretty neat.

The even cooler news? Now that we’ve finally been given a premiere date, HBO should begin ramping up for Season 5 with brand new footage. If you’ve been feeling like you’ve been inundated with Game of Thrones news, there’s only going to be more in the coming months. If you, on the other hand, have been living under a rock, HBO did recently release this brand new trailer for HBO’s 2015 programming, which totally takes a look at our favorite Game of Thrones characters (along with Selina Meyer’s new haircut on Veep).

Half the fun of being a fan of Game of Thrones is avidly reading up on the casting news and fun stories from the cast members involved with (or missing from) the Season 5 production. So far, we’ve tittered a bit over the new nipple armor just as much as we’ve devoured Arya’s brand new costume. If you don’t want to look at all of those links separately, be sure to check out everything we know so far about Game Of Thrones Season 5.

Game Of Thrones fans, we’ll see you in April.
