If you’re looking to be moved and maybe even inspired, you might want to check out HBO next week. The pay-cable channel is set to air a two-part documentary by Martin Scorsese called George Harrison: Living in the Material World. If you haven’t surmised by the title, the film follows the life and work of one of the Beatles.

The documentary made its debut at the 2011 Telluride Film Festival and offers “a rare glimpse into the mind and soul of one of the most talented artists of his generation and a profoundly intimate and affecting work of cinema.” The film includes interviews with Eric Clapton, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, George Martin, Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono, Tom Petty, Phil Spector, Ringo Starr, and Jackie Stewart. The trailer below gives us a glimpse of what the film has to offer.
