There's a huge hole in my life now that the first season of Game of Thrones has ended. Sure, True Blood came back last night, but I quickly realized that as entertaining as the supernatural residents of Bon Temps can be, they're not enough to fill the void. Thankfully, this teaser for Season 2 of my other favorite new show, Boardwalk Empire, might help. HBO, you complete me.

The teaser is about as action packed and intense as you can get in under two minutes. We get a glimpse of all of our favorite Atlantic City (and Chicago) residents as the drama between Steve Buscemi's Nucky Thompson and, well, pretty much everyone else vying for a piece of the Prohibition pie, seems to be coming to a head, and fast. Will they be successful in their plays for power, or is Nucky right to say, "I will ruin you, all of you..." Whose side are you on? Take a look and allow yourself to be teased.

If that doesn't make you want to tune in, you must be dead already. For those who missed the first season of the best gangster show since The Sopranos (there's plenty of time to catch up), Boardwalk Empire is about political corruption, Prohibition profitability, and the seedy underbelly of 1920s Atlantic City. A mix of real and fictional figures, the show stars Steve Buscemi as Enoch "Nucky" Thompson, an elected city official and local mob boss in charge of, and constantly waging war over, the illegal booze racket. His co-stars (enemies) include Michael Pitt, Michael Shannon, and Stephen Graham.

Boardwalk Empire returns to HBO this fall.
