Jason Priestly And Tony Hale To Guest Star On Psych

USA’s doing pretty good for itself in the guest-star department lately and there’s more good news ahead! Fans of USA’s Psych can look forward to a guest appearance by a former Beverly Hills, 90210 star, as well as a former Arrested Development star in an upcoming episode this fall.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Jason Priestly has signed on to play a part in an episode of Psych. The actor, who’s probably best known for playing the role of Brandon Walsh in Beverly Hills, 90210, will play a con-man/biker who attempts to “pull a job” at a spa resort, where Shawn and Juliet happen to be staying. I can just picture the ultra-observant Shawn, unable to enjoy a bit of rest and relaxation, as soon as he catches wind of something not right taking place in his vicinity.

Meanwhile, EW reports that Arrested Development’s Tony Hale is also set to guest star on Psych. Hale’s known for playing the role of the often confused, mom-dependent Buster on Arrested Development. In Psych, he’ll be playing the owner of an imports/exports business (“Say Vandelay Industries!” - Seinfeldreference). While Entertainment Weekly doesn’t specifically say that Priestly and Hale are guest-starring in the same episode, the description for the episode Hale’s in sounds similar enough to the description for Priestly’s that it’s probably safe to assume they are.

This news follows some other guest-starring news for USA’s shows, including an appearance by Charisma Carpenter in Burn Notice as well as a guest spot for True Blood’s Joe Manganiello in White Collar.
